I have eaten around the world.from Europe to South America andthe Caribbean, and Long Gut Miss Pinneys was one of the finest restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. The food was authentic Jamacian and beyond delicious. Rosetta the owner and her beautiful daughter are charming hosts. I went in expecting something quircky but was blown away by its elegance. This place belongs in New Yorks east side along with the best. One of the most delightful experiences of my life. Everybody should plan a visit there!!

No wait on a Thursday night for myself, my wife, and son. Sat immediately. Super relaxed atmosphere with reggae playing - don't expect to be in and out, at least for dinner. When I go out to dinner, I hate being rushed - you will not be rushed here. Waitress was super nice and explained a couple of things on the menu that we were had questions about - I'm not super familiar with Jamaican food. Food was excellent - my wife & I both ordered jerk pork which came with rice & peas, plantains, and a small portion of a raw cabbage salad with some other veggies. A separate savory, spicy brown sauce came out which I poured over the rice and dipped some pork in - all really good. I had a little bit of the spicy sweats going on - I'm a bit of a pansy with spicy stuff, but it was not too hot to handle. Spent about $120 including 20% tip for 3 good size portion meals, 2 beers, and a specialty juice for my son - he ate some coco bread, a bite of his macaroni and cheese, and then sampled mom and dads plates. Great food, friendly service, clean, and super laid back atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
